Mukuni Village, located near Victoria Falls in Zambia, is a community rich in culture and tradition. The village offers visitors a glimpse into the daily lives of its residents, showcasing traditional crafts and customs. However, the proximity to wildlife has led to incidents of human-elephant conflict. In March 2024, an 80-year-old American tourist tragically lost her life when an aggressive bull elephant attacked her vehicle during a safari in Kafue National Park. This incident underscores the challenges faced in areas where human habitats intersect with wildlife territories. For a visual account of this incident, you can watch the following news report: Efforts are ongoing to mitigate such conflicts and promote coexistence between humans and wildlife in the region. However, these incidences are many by statistics. Children offen fail to attend school due to this problem Objectives of the Fundraiser 1.
